Why Cheap Brands Look Cheap
It was never about the money. A pigeon and a dove are the same bird with different PR. One gets released at weddings. The other gets chased out of train stations. Same feathers, same species, completely different reputation. Brands work identically. You've seen something look cheap in half a second, before reading a word. That reaction isn't about budget. It's about decisions.

Cheap Isn't a Price — It's a Lack of Restraint
Cheap branding almost never comes from a small budget. It comes from fear. Fear that one typeface isn't enough, so there are four. Fear that empty space looks unfinished, so every corner gets filled. Fear the message won't land, so it's repeated three times in three sizes. Clutter is fear made visible. And our eyes read it as cheap long before our brains can explain why.
